RESEARCH

The main topic of Marek’s research is Frequency-swept Rapid-scan EPR. Rapid Scan EPR is an innovative method of investigating paramagnetic materials, which, compared to conventional EPR techniques, excels in the ability to access relaxation times due to rapid passage through resonance without requiring taxing experimental elements, such as resonant cavities and high-power pulse generators. Nowadays the method is conducted by rapid changes in magnetic field with microwave frequency kept constant, which has many limiting factors, such as low speed and range of rapidly swept magnetic field and the possible usage of this method in high fields and low temperatures. This is not the case with frequency-swept rapid scan.
