Research
The focus of Lubomír’s research is to synthesize Single Ion Magnets (SIMs) based on coordination compounds of transition metals like cobalt, iron or lanthanides and to study their structure and magnetic properties. Further goal is to deposit SIMs on various 2D surfaces such as graphene, transition metal dichalcogenides etc., which is new interesting way to prepare and study new hybrid materials potentially useful for quantum computing.
