RESEARCH​

The main topic of Ondřej’s research is preparation and study of Single Molecule Magnets (SMMs) or more specifically Single Ion Magnets (SIMs). His main focus lies in a study of Co(II) SIMs, but he is also interested in other types of magnetic bistability of coordination compounds such as spin transition or spin crossover. 

EDUCATION

2018 Started master studies at Masaryk University, Faculty of Science, Department of Inorganic Chemistry

2015 – 2018 Bachelor studies at Palacký University Olomouc, Faculty of Science, Department of Analytical Chemistry. Title of bachelor thesis: Mononuclear Co (II) complexes with the coordination geometry on the border between hexa and hepta coordination: magnetic and structural properties. Supervisor: Ing. Ivan Nemec, Ph. D.
